Holder
This restaurant is in Old Montreal. I’ve eaten here a dozen times and it never disappoints. Casual dress.
407 McGill St, Montreal
Bonaparte
An Old Montreal stalwart. l had the tasting menu with wine pairings, which was very reasonable for what we got. This is a very nice restaurant where you probably want to be a little more dressed up (e.g.: not in shorts).
447 Saint Francois Xavier St, Montreal
Brasserie 701
I’ve eaten here a few times and never been disappointed! Old Montreal, across Place d’Armes from Notre-Dame Basilica.
701 Côte de la Place d’Armes, Montreal
Wienstein & Gavino's
Straightforward Italian restaurant in the heart of Crescent Street, across the street from the Winston Churchill Pub. Often a waiting list if you don’t reserve!
1434 rue Crescent, Montreal
Eggspectation
Breakfast only – 2 restaurants: Old Montreal and Downtown, boul. de Maisonneuve Ouest. The one de Maisonneuve is a short walk from the hotel. A little more fun than Cora’s!
12 Rue Notre Dame Est, Montreal
1313 De Maisonneuve Ouest, Montreal
Chez Cora
Breakfast only. This is really close to the hotel.
1240 Drummond St, Montreal (between Ste-Catherine and Rene-Levesque)
Very popular French bistro…you need to reserve before you go to Montreal. Latin Quarter.
3297 R. Saint-Denis, Montreal
I’ve never been to this location, but the food is excellent. Pricey.
900 Pl. Jean-Paul-Riopelle, Montreal (Edge of Old Montreal)
Rated one of Montreal’s best restaurants, also one of the most expensive – Greek.
5357 Av Du Parc, Montreal

5357 Av Du Parc, Montreal
This is the most famous smoked meat place in Montreal. You need to try a smoked meat sandwich. Be sure to order medium smoked meat, lean is way too dry!
3895 Boul. St-Laurent, Montreal
Very close to the hotel, you might want to go for lunch.
1249 Metcalfe St, Montreal
It’s a chain…check it out online for a location close to you (This is Quebec fast-food at it’s best…you should try the barbecue chicken with traditional coleslaw).
Just a half block from the hotel, this dive is where you go for two all-dressed hot dogs and Quebec fries (Deux steamés alldress).
1216 Peel St, Montreal
